  • We will be starting the New Year off with bang. Fingers and paws
crossed, off to Tallmadge 1/6-7 for our first show of the year.
  • We went to Tallmadge January 6th and 7th.  Each boy showed 1 day and
    got reserve.
  • February 2018
  • We went to the Winter Cluster in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday,
February 9th.  Grayson showed in the 9-12 month class handled by Lu
Castro.  He did a goog job showing with someone new and was 2nd in
    his class.  Thank you, Lu!
  • Benz was in Open Dog for the 1st time and showed well going WD and
BOW for 2 pts. under Judge Barbara Dempsey Alderman.  Thank you,
Judge Alderman.  Now for that last major!
  • On Saturday, I only showed Benz and he showed flawlessly.  He was WD
and BOS for a 4 pt. major under Judge David Cline, one of my favorite
judges.  This finished his championship.  What a great day it was!  Thank
you so much Judge Cline for recognizing this special boy.
  • March 2018
  • Spent the weekend of the 17th and 18th showing in Louisville, KY.  While
both Savannah (Tate x Bryn) and Benz showed well in their respective
classes, the competition was tough and no love from the judges for us.
  • April 2018
  • Still waiting for spring to arrive here in Indiana, go away snow!
  • Off to Columbus, Ohio the end of the month for a 1 day show and then
the Vizsla Club of America National event.  Here we come Ashville!!
  • May 2018
  • Our trip to the VCA Nationals in Ashville, NC was fun-filled.  It was great
seeing old friends and making new ones.  The house we rented outside
of Ashville was perfect, plenty of room, comfy beds and a great fenced in
yard for the dogs.  How nice after showing all day to relax on the deck
with a glass of wine while the dogs ran and played. Grayson (Tate X
Bryn) was the rockstar of the group.  He receive 3rd place in his futurity
class and 4th place in Sweeps.  While the other boys showed well, there
was no love from the judges.
  • Well it finally happened,on 5/21/2018, Corey finally became a dad!!
Corey (Intl /AKC GCH Plaza's Windswept Little Red Corvette JH BN
CGC) and Haven (CH Sizzlin Plaza's Haven Can Wait) welcomed 3
beautiful puppies (1 boy and 2 girls.)  Can't wait to watch these cuties
grow and see what is in store for them.
  • June 2018
  • Hot, Hot, Hot!!!!
  • We went to MVVC Speciality show and weekend.  No love from the
judges and way too hot.  It was wonderful to hang out with Rita and
Miguel Chavez (and their girl Posh) who we hadn't seen in several years.
  • July 2018
  • Off to the Cleveland speciality weekend.  Hanging at Ray and Nancy
Kirchner's house and visiting with Foster (Tate X Ava.)  Thursday started
out great, Grayson went RWD and Benz SD for a 3 pt. major.
Unfortunately, that was as good as it got, rest of the weekend no love
from the judges.  On the way home, I picked up "Wheeler" (Plaza's
Windswept Hell On Wheels, Corey X Haven)  Boy 8 weeks really flew by!
  • Not much planned for the rest of the month.  Enjoying the puppy and
spending time at home.  Back off to Cleveland in August!
  • August & September 2018
  • Hung around the house with the boys.
  • October 2018
  • Miami Valley Vizsla Club fall speciality and show weekend at the Roberts
Center in Wilmington Ohio.  Friday at the speciality Wheeler (Corey X
Haven) made his show debut, he was BOB in the 4-6 month class with
his sister Carlee BOS.  Not to be outdone by his kids, Daddy Corey (Tate
X Porsche) was awarded an AOM from the hunting dog class handled by
our friend Tim Hampp.  The rest of the weekend was unremarkable
except for Sunday when Grayson (Tate X Bryn) went RWD to the 3 pt.
    major his brother Reuben won.
  • November 2018
  • Wheeler makes his true show debut in Tallmadge, OH and goes
WD/BW/BOBOH for his first 2 pts!  "What a very nice puppy!!! "Judge
Wayne E. Bousek stated several times.
